Karna Powdyel, a prominent figure in the Bhutanese Community of Cincinnati, is a member of the Board of Directors. He is a dedicated entrepreneur, community advocate, and family-oriented individual. Married to Roma and as a father to two sons, Karna is passionate about fostering strong communities and raising awareness within the community he cherishes. His journey exemplifies the values of hard work, determination, and the importance of giving back to the community. Karna is a pronounced leader with multiple management skills in the professional line of duty, bestowed with years of experience and training.

In 2021, Karna advanced as the Regional Director for the Southwest Ohio chapter of the Intra-National Welfare and Support Foundation of America, a non-profit organization. He successfully advocated for the underserved, providing critical resources and support. His leap into entrepreneurship in 2022 capitalized on his accrued skills, focusing on creating opportunities for community advancement. ​Karna’s unyielding dedication to transformation is encapsulated in his guiding motto: “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you’re at and change the ending,” showcasing his commitment to resilience and positive change.

Mr. Powdyel is another name of significance for empowering youths towards sports. He also has left emancipating footprints in the lives of the community at difficult times. Meanwhile, his selfless empowerment toward the community’s enlightenment through education proves that light is at the end of the tunnel. So, Karna is the trinity of youth empowerment – Games & Sports, Community enlightenment – support system & service coordination, and community education – role-play & social media advocacy.

Mr. Powdyel ignites brotherhood from within the variances and adversaries in the community and beyond. His dedication to the community penetrates deep into the heart of the community whenever and whatever the community needs. His charisma builds gratification, contentment, and smiles on the faces engulfed by pain and sorrows. He is a well-invested sportsman with vigorous stamina and strenuous acumen in different levels of sports and games.
